Conservative Medications Don’t Cut It
As the largest organ of the body, the skin, also known as the integumentary system, is the site of a vast number of pathologic conditions. Often a cream, ointment or spray prescribed by a family physician or a dermatologist is not available commercially. Some patients are allergic to non-active ingredients in commercially available products such as lanolin, Paraben mix, and preservatives.

Compounded Medication for Your Skin
Conditions for which compounded remedies are often prescribed for include but are not limited to:
- Chronic or persistent diaper rash, also known as diaper dermatitis
One should do his/her due diligence to ensure their topical medications are formulated professionally. Using the right mixing technique and most up-to-date technology ensures no cross-contamination of ingredients. At our compounding lab, we use an Unguator and an Ointment mill machine to optimize the even distribution of active ingredients throughout your cream and also decrease the particle size of powders in creams to ensure maximum absorption of ingredients.
